The lyrics & melody for “IT IS FINISHED” were born while sitting in church during a sermon entitled “A Song for Praise!” during Easter week 2014. Even though I have thousands of worship songs that I love, plus all of my Godsongs, I told my DaddyGod,

“I want to sing the song You sang on that day, When You rose from the grave, from the grave, The one You sang as breath filled Your lungs, “IT IS FINISHED!” I have won! “

I know in my experiential KNOW that everything Jesus accomplished through His Finished Work at the Cross, His Burial & Resurrection is mine !! This is the GOOD NEWS ~ the Gospel of Peace message ~ which is my Godsong of Praise! The Gospel of Peace message that has brought a song of praise into my heart was born into my Godsong, “IT IS FINISHED!” that very day! It was beautiful how that leading up to that very moment I had been reading “Moving Your Invisible Boundaries” by Jim B Richards. I had just finished reading Chapters 24 & 25 which is about how complete I am in JESUS & that I fully share in His Resurrection life! I have already won because Jesus has won the victory for me! What a beautiful exchange I get to participate in with Jesus ~ my Resurrected Savior, the Victorious One! All that He is, all that He accomplished through HIs Finished work, every promise & provision is my now & eternal reality! Jesus Finished work is my finished experience! “IT IS FINISHED !” In Jesus ~ I have won! Through His victories, I have the VICTORY in the Victorious One!
